Hi All - HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Apologies for tardiness in keeping this site up to date. Have concentrated on our Facebook & Mr Gig pages to keep all up to speed with what's afoot in BROKEN land.
But New Year = New Attitude & will now try and keep this fresh

Had a most triumphant night at The Park Inn, Dover on New Years Eve and it topped off a busy 2011 nicely.

Many trials during 2011. We said cheerio to Neil and a big Hello to young Dan Leggatt as our new Axe Bully.
A couple of us were facing redundancy.
JP had a nasty car crash.
Charlie bought a house.
Tim didn't drop dead.

So what do we reckon 2012 is going to bring? Well we've got The Olympics, Euro 2012 & hopefully a few decent gigs to look forward to.

We've just started the (always painfull) synchronise diaries and booking process. There's 20+ dates on the slate already & hopefully more will follow.
Please let us know if you think there's anywhere we should be playing that isn't on our itinerary at the moment.

Just like to thank all those that popped along to a gig in 2011 & we'll hopefully see you at some point this year as well.

Good nite at The Ocean, Dymchurch last night. Bit quiet but those that were there supported well. Bloody Rye Fireworks did the damage!!
3 dates for 2012 including August Bank Holiday Monday, 3 band, outdoor, all-day event, which should be fun. Running order & timings t.b.c.

Hi All, Not updated the site for a while. Been very busy with the day job and stuff.
Not much has changed. Been gigging steadily. Dan has settled in well and is playing like a man demented.
Dates sre starting to filter through for 2012 now and we're about to start our mammoth ring round for next years dates.

Enjoyable night at The Lion Of Kent, Bearsted on Sunday 14th Aug.
Really nice pub that's had a few bob invested in it and very welcoming Landlord and staff.
Sorry to the 'Champagne Reception' if we made your ears bleed a bit but we tried to keep volumes reasonable in the second half, honest!!
Always difficult when going to a new venue but enjoyed it and this could be one to watch going forward as it's a quality place.

This Sunday (14th) we're at a new venue - THE LION OF KENT, Bearsted, Nr Maidstone.
Been past it and it looks like a really nice pub.
We start at 8:00pm & it would be great to have some fans along for support and to support this new venture.

Hi All,
Thanks a lot to all the punters at The Ocean Inn, Dymchurch for making last nights gig a hoot (06/08). You guys REALLY know how to party and the community singing was the loudest that we've had at any pub, anywhere!! Brilliant.
Thanks also to Rhys West who depped on Guitar last night. Ace job again mate & bloody loud. As I type this my ears are still ringing!

Tonight (07/08) we're at The New Inn, Deal from 7:30pm. Hopefully the punters at the pub will be as good as The Ocean Inn and swing their pants in a rock n roll stylee! We live in hope....(THEY DIDN'T).

Hi All,
Corking gig at The Park Inn, Dover last night (05/08). Dan's first gig with us and he was superb. Many favourable comments and positive feedback. Well done Dan!

We're at The Ocean Inn, Dymchurch tonight (06/08) and have another great Guitarist depping for us - Rhys West. He did a stirling job at The Red Lion, Sittingbourne back in July and is stepping in again for this one. Check out his band on Facebook - Zeus (UK).

Sunday (07/08) we're back at one of our favourites - The New Inn, Deal (from 7:30pm).

So - bit of a rock n roll weekend then! Hopefully catch some of you at one of the above.

Had a great night at The Red Lion, Sittingbourne on 23/07/11. Had a Guitarist called Rhys playing with us and he did a great job. Rhys will also be covering our gig at The Ocean Inn, Dymchurch on 6th August - cheers Rhys!

Hi All,
Bit of an update then......
We've spent June covering the gigs and searching for a new Axe Bully.
Thankfully we managed to get the talented THE Andy Mack for most of the dates we had and we had a fun time, with some great shows.
We've had 2 audition sessions at Gordon's in Ashford and we managed to tempt some really talented Guitarists along to try out. Thanks to all the guys that came along. It really was a tough decision.....

We've chosen Dan Leggatt as our new Guitarist.
He'll be playing his first date with us at The Park Inn, Dover (Dan's Home Town) on 5th August.

Thought I'd better update this page as I keep sending people here to look at the site!

Guitarist Urgently Required!
Neil has quit due to health reasons so we're looking for a new Guitarist at the moment.
You need to be able to commit to plenty of gigs (see gig diary - including New Years Eve) and be willing to travel, rehearse etc. We need a versatile lead player, ideally with vocals.
All the information about us is on here, including the set-list and some live video.
Contact us via any of the numbers on the contacts page and/or e-mail. Also via Facebook if you prefer.
We'll be holding auditions a.s.a.p as we've got dates coming up very soon!
We're trying to arrange deps to cover all gigs whilst we find the right person, so if you want to see us in action then please come along and say hello.

Excitement! We've finally got a date at a pub we've been trying to get into for ages:
Thursday 30th June - The Eagle, High Street, Rochester - 9:00pm

Had a couple of attempts. Booked, then moved, then got snowed in so couldn't do. Hopefully this one we'll actually get through the door!
If you're local support would be welcome. Nice pub.

Had a fun time at The Railway, Walmer last night (19/03). We were worried as there was one old boy in the bar at 7:30pm and it looked like it could have been a quiet one but a fair few turned up before the start so ended up as a good night. Our new 'SUPER GROUPIES' Sam, Charlotte & friends made sure the locals didn't have a dull night and Charlie singing with her ar*e hanging out of her leggings was an added bonus. Well received, great feedback and hopefully back in the future. Good times!

Some great venues in there! Particulalrly The Royal Norfolk Hotel, Sandgate- really nice playing area & pleasant atmos.
Also The Old House At Home, Queenborough - had a rousing afternoon last time we played there! Great views of the river and brilliant atmosphere.
Also The Bull, Shooters Hill sees us working towards London for the first time!
New choons in the pipeline (Jessie J, Jamiroquai, etc etc) & we're on a major push to change the set to keep it fresh and different, our aim being to play stuff other bands don't. Great gig at Earl's last night (30/12). Took a while to get going but was great at the end. Cheers all - hope you enjoyed yourselves as much as we did.

Tonight - New Years Eve - we play a private, ticket only affair at Singleton Barn, Ashford. Think we can get tickets via JP. It's £69 which includes all drink, midnight fireworks, numerous DJ's, 2 x heated marquees and live band (us). Limited to 250 tickets. Sounds like a hoot and overall, not bad value considering all drinks are free until 2am!!

Hello All,
First update for a while. Great night at Aylesford Priory on 11/12. The Motorcaravan club crew know how to party!! Bit worried about being too loud and heavy, so Charlie entertained with solo stuff, which they loved & we did a few in between, which didn't seem to scare anyone off. Great venue - beautiful, large, thatched barn. No Monks though, which was disappointing!! I'll put the pictures in the gallery as soon as I can find my camera!

Tonight we're at THE PARK INN, DOVER from 9:00pm. First time here for us and our last gig before Christmas so would be great to have some support.

Finally BROKEN would just like to say HAPPY CHRISTMAS to all that have supported us and been to a gig or given us positive feedback over what has been a fairly turbulent year.
Got a great gig itinerary for 2011 so far so something must be working right!! Many, many thanks to all the venues, punters, rehearsal studios, etc etc that have put up with us!!

Hello All,
Apologies for cancellation at The Eagle, Rochester. We and the pub both agreed that it was for the best due to the weather conditions.
Hopefully be re-scheduling for early in 2011.
Next public outing is 18th December at The Park Inn, Dover, which is a new venue for us, so hopefully catch up with some of you at that one!

Hello All,
Well an interesting week then! Firstly apologies from Tim & Neil for not making The Villager, Vigo gig. Neil was stuck on a commuter coach and Tim took 6 hours to get across the river Thames - all due to the wind!!
Charlie and JP saved the day with solo performances, so hopefully those that attended weren't disappointed.
Apparently back at The Villager in January 2011, so must have been OK!!

Last night (13/11) we played at Brompton Social Club, Gillingham. Down on numbers at the start but by the end they were up & dancing!! Cards given out etc etc, so hopefully we'll be back in 2011 or other venues will give us a go. Enjoyable night in the end.

Hello All,
Cracking night at The Royal Norfolk Hotel, Sandgate last night. What a great venue it turned out to be. Didn't even know they did live music! Cheers all for making us feel welcome. Due back in January hopefully, with promise of dates into 2011. Aparently that was a quiet night as well!!! I blame the weather! Really looking forward to going back. Nice one!

Successful return to The Yew Tree, Deal last night. Nice to see Bobster. Annette and Lynn in attendance. 
Despite Chelsea's uncharacteristic loss against Man City and the associated banter had a good night and great response from the regulars.
Hot totty party going on upstairs made it the perfect night!

Hello All,
Well we've done our first date with Neil (Nelly) and it went very well for a first outing. Plenty of people in attendance and got a great response.

Dave the Landlord, as ever, was in good form. He really should go on the stage with his one-liners and witty banter!

Dates promised for next year and we're starting to book now for 2011 with some dates in the bank already.
